Tawau Hills Park: Part 4 — Tawau Hills Botanical Garden & Dipterocarp Garden In this fourth instalment of our series, we explore two key conservation areas within Tawau Hills Park: the Tawau Hills Botanical Garden and the Dipterocarp Garden. Established in 1999 and opened to the public in 2006, the Tawau Hills Botanical Garden is a 5-acre ex-situ conservation site dedicated to Sabah’s native plant diversity. Divided into seven themed plant zones, the garden showcases a wide array of local flora.
